Spread the word! AMBA is looking for volunteers to help out with its 2026 season! As we continue to grow and build up baseball in Amherstburg, helping hands are needed for the many positions that make our league run smoothly. The Amherstburg Cardinals U8 Select team won the first annual Amherstburg Summer Classic Tournament held last Sunday at Bill Wigle Park. The three team tournament consisted of the Cardinals, the Woodslee Orioles and the Essex Yellowjackets. The Cards won the championship with an 11-6 victory over Woodslee in the final. Congrats to Beau Schiefer who was named tournament MVP!

Any pictures not picked up last night will be available in Malden from 6-8 tonight. A reminder that any player that posed for a photo receives a complimentary team photo. If you ordered digital images, there is still a form to pick up in order to access your photos.

Pictures will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, August 12 from 4-6 pm at the Libro. Any remaining pictures after this day can be picked up at another time TBD. 

Congratulations to our U9 Cardinals Team 2!! Bringing home the gold medal and trophy at this years Battle of the Diamonds Tournament 2025! We are so proud of all the kids and coaches working hard all year for this moment!
